Shopping Tutorial
CATALOG: The web site is setup to allow you to browse our online catalog in several different ways. All of our available brands are listed on the left side of each page, which will take you to an alphabetical product listing. Directly above the menu is a search box, which is useful if you already know the name of the shoe you are looking for. Additionally we have an Advanced Search Page, which allows you to filter your search by shoe color, size and width. We understand that each foot is unique and strive to provide our customers with sizes big and small, from narrow to wide. Therefore from either the brand pages or search results, you may again refine your results by color, size and width.
PRODUCT: Once you have settled on a particular style, you will need to select the shoe color, size and quantity desired, before clicking 'Add to Cart'. Most of our online products have an image for each color, which will change depending on your selection from the color drop-down menu. You must select a color before the size menu will be made available, since not all sizes are available in each color. Decide on your order quantity and then add the item to the shopping cart.
SHOPPING CART: As products are added to the shopping cart, the cart view will be updated dynamically. The standard 'View Cart' page is unnecessary, as normal cart operations are handled on the individual product pages. From here you can update each product's quantity or delete a selection altogether by entering a '0' and clicking 'Update'. Once you have finished making your selections simply click 'Proceed to Checkout'.
JAVASCRIPT: Normal shopping cart operation requires that you have JavaScript enabled within your internet browser. Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox have JavaScript enabled by default. To ensure that scripting is enabled in IE6 click through the menu:

In Firefox click:

Our web server is equipped with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which is the industry standard for internet encryption. Throughout the entire checkout process, all billing and shipping information remains in strict confidence. Our web certification is through GoDaddy.com, which we display at the bottom of all our pages.
Rest assured that your personal information will never be sold to third-party companies. Furthermore Bennie's Shoes is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau.
Ordering and Shipment
If you are uneasy about placing an order through our web site, we would be glad to take your order over the phone. Simply contact one of our representatives at 1-888-BENNIES (2366). Please do not place an order through e-mail, as this would bypass all of the security mentioned in the previous section.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards, as well as PayPal. Currently we do not ship outside of the United States. An 8% sales tax will be charged for all shipments to Georgia.
We offer FREE SHIPPING via FedEx Ground for all orders delivered within the continental United States. Please keep in mind that FedEx does not deliver to post office boxes. Shipping fees are also waived if you opt to pick up your order at one of our three Store Locations. Expedited shipping options are available for domestic orders, and will be presented during the checkout process. We are available during normal business hours to discuss time-sensitive orders.
In-stock items will be shipped within three business days. All other products will come directly from the manufacturer. Please contact us via phone or e-mail (info@benniesshoes.com) as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel your order. Your shipment should arrive within 10 to 14 days from when the order was received. Please allow extra time for items being sent to APO/FPO addresses. You will be notified immediately if a product must be backordered, at which time you will have the option of cancellation followed by a full refund.
We at Bennie's Shoes pride ourselves in being able to accommodate customers seeking shoes in hard-to-find sizes and widths. However availability is sometimes limited for certain styles. If we are unable to fill your order for any reason, you will be contacted regarding any delays in the shipment. At that time you may opt to receive a full refund or make an exchange. It is our promise to work with you and ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your shopping experience from start to finish.
Returns and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please follow these guidelines in a timely fashion to ensure that you receive a refund or replacement:
To be eligible for a full refund, we must receive the returned product within 45 days of the original order date. No returns or exchanges will be accepted after this initial 45-day period has elapsed.
Items must be returned with the manufacturer's box in an unworn state. For this reason, please fit your shoes inside on a carpeted area first. If during inspection it is determined that the product has received wear, it will be returned to the buyer.
When sending a product back, please return it to Bennie's and not the manufacturer. Include a copy of your internet receipt along with a note telling us what you need (i.e. exchange or refund). Shipment should be through FedEx, with the appropriate level of insurance, as this will allow both parties to track the transaction status with confidence. If you are an Atlanta area resident you may optionally return the product, along with the original box and sales receipt, to one of our three store locations within 45 days of the order.
Please allow one business day for the processing of your return. In the case of a refund, we will issue it using your original form of payment.
